Girl Power

The “venus factor” we should take more notice of.

“Women control or influence 80% or all purchases of both consumer goods and services”*a startling statistic that is driving more than just advertising trends. From a concept car designed by women for women, to power tools that adapt to smaller hands and higher asthetics, companies are taking more than a passing moment to consider the question — perhaps it isn't a man's world after all?

Now we aren't trying to offend the male readers amongst our audience, but even the most hard bitten proponent of all that is macho must admit it is no longer good business to ignore 50% of the world’s population. From the halls of Volvo in Sweden and back to the aisles of hardware bastion Home Depot examples are becoming too numerous to ignore, and the value to be found extends well beyond the immediate bottom line results.

So take a moment to get in touch with your feminine side. Check out the links below to learn more about this trend and where it is taking us.
