Let's talk!
When storytelling isn't just for the kids.
In the words of Archbishop Desmond Tutu “we
give each other everything but ourselves…” In these
days when we are weighed down – literally- with devices
designed to keep us in touch with the people and events around
us we instead grow increasingly more isolated from each other.
However, it might just be as easy to fix as talking
to each other! Since the dawn of time, storytelling has been
one of the most powerful and “human” ways to connect
information from person-to-person, tribe-to-tribe and society-to-scoiety.
And today there is a major resurgence in this age-old art – in
some very unexpected places.
From boardrooms to lunchrooms, from cafes to
kitchen tables and everywhere in between, people are sharing
their stories and discovering together what they care about.
So grab a friend or colleague and a cup of whatever you fancy
and join the movement. “Telling stories” has never
been such a good thing! visit the links below and find out
some suprising ways conversations can help.
